Description

Our Effective Communication Skills course is designed to empower learners with essential interpersonal skills and cultural understanding.

By the end of the course, participants will be able to:

  • Engage confidently with known and unknown individuals, using appropriate greetings and conversation starters.

  • Offer genuine compliments and congratulate others on their achievements, enhancing social interactions.

  • Share and inquire about general well-being and health, fostering meaningful connections in everyday conversations.

  • Use the weather as a light conversation starter and smoothly transition to more significant topics.

  • Politely and effectively close conversations, leaving a positive impression and encouraging future interactions.

  • Identify and discuss essential services and locations in the community, such as doctors, banks, and libraries.

  • Describe various occupations and tasks, and discuss community activities to strengthen social bonds.

  • Clearly and respectfully negotiate appointments and bookings, ensuring effective communication.

  • Engage in discussions about service prices and payment options, building confidence in financial conversations.

Additionally, learners will gain the ability to:

  • Exchange greetings and make introductions while navigating social settings with ease.

  • Understand the importance of tone and body language in effective communication.

  • Use appropriate language and expressions to share personal experiences and engage with others.

  • Communicate effectively in various contexts, from casual chats to more formal discussions.

  • Build rapport with others through shared experiences and relatable topics.

Prerequisites

A course can proceed only if it receives a minimum number of enrolments.

We must cancel the course a week before if we require more enrolments.
