Description
Our NZSL courses aim to deepen learners' understanding of communication within personal and community contexts.
By the end of the course, participants will be able to:

Invite others to their home and confidently accept or decline invitations.

Give and ask for addresses and contact details, such as email and mobile numbers.

Describe and identify the features of their homes, including architectural styles and notable characteristics.

Understand and provide simple directions to their homes, enhancing navigational skills.

Identify and name different rooms in the house to facilitate conversations about home environments.

Name essential household items relevant for visitors, ensuring effective communication during visits.
Additionally, learners will gain the ability to:

Communicate about various events, celebrations, and holidays, sharing personal experiences.

Discuss travel destinations and modes of transportation, fostering engagement in travel-related conversations.

Describe and discuss plans for events and gatherings, enhancing collaborative communication.

To maintain dialogue flow, politely interrupt conversations, such as asking for clarification or suggesting alternative ideas.
Prerequisites
A course can proceed only if it receives a minimum number of enrolments.
